How to configure study modalities for report querying

This is how to manually configure to allow explicit setting of the modalities to be report queried (simplified and pdf reports). This would allow you to override the default "OT", "DOC" modalities.

This configuration is available starting version 6.4.2.

The feature allows explicit setting of the modalities to be report queried (simplified and pdf reports), allowing you to override the default "OT", "DOC" modalities.

However, if another configuration useInstanceLevelQueryForReports (see below example) is set then it bypasses the modality check for pdf Reports. Adding this tag might have performance impact.

<property name="useInstanceLevelQueryForReports" value="true" />

Manual Configuration

The configuration can currently only be specified manually in dicomqr-plugin.xml, using a bean list property called studyReportModalities

Note: most of the other bean properties in the example below have been removed

It is a comma separated list of modality tags.

<property name="studyReportModalities" value="OT,DOC"/> or
<property name="studyReportModalities" value="DOC"/>
Example:
<bean class="pureweb.plugins.dicomqr.StandardDicomRepository" id="uuid-60797230-d129-450e-b327-38a121515d54">
    <property name="name" value="standard" />
    <property name="address" value="${uuid-60797230-d129-450e-b327-38a121515d54.query.address}" />
    <property name="storageAddress" value="${uuid-60797230-d129-450e-b327-38a121515d54.storage.address}" />
    <property name="studyReportModalities" value="OT,DOC"/>
</bean>

Once added, you have to reload the plugins for the changes to take effect.

Note:  Internal case RMD-25105.
