How to configure related studies query and search filtering separately

Configuring related studies query and search filtering separately

Details:

By default, when applying filters on search results or related study queries, the ResolutionMD server automatically filters based on the following input parameters if they were included in the query:
  • Issuer of patient ID
  • Patient birth date
  • Patient sex
However, in some situations, you may need to change this default behavior. You can configure which search parameters are used when filtering by editing the configuration.xml file:
  1. In the server's file hierarchy, navigate to the configuration folder:
    /opt/CSI/PureWeb/Server/conf
  2. Open the configuration.xml file for editing. (This file only becomes available after you have added a configuration, such as a DICOM connection or LDAP integration.)
  3. Add the following code at the bottom of this file, just above the closing </configuration> tag:
    <search_filter>
    <search_parameters>
    <issuer_of_patient_id>false</issuer_of_patient_id>
    <patient_birth_date>false</patient_birth_date>
    <patient_sex>false</patient_sex>
    </search_parameters>
    </search_filter>
  4. Save the file and restart the pureweb service for the changes to take effect.
