How to enable MIP/MPR thick slabbing in ResolutionMD (For Review)

Steps to enable MIP/MPR thick slabbing by modifying the licensedfeatures.xml and GPUMemoryStrategy.xml files.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to:
    • RHEL: /opt/CSI/PureWeb/Server/conf/clinicalapps/
    • Windows: C:\CSI\PureWeb\Server\conf/clinicalapps\
  2. Edit the following file: licensedfeatures.xml and ensure MIP/MPR is set to True to enable it
vi /opt/CSI/PureWeb/Server/conf/clinicalapps/licensedfeatures.xml

For 3D and MIP/MPR enabled:

3.   Save the file before closing.

4. Edit the AcceleratedSlab parameter to enable Thick Slabbing, edit the GPUMemoryStrategy.xml file, execute the command: 
vi /opt/CSI/PureWeb/Server/conf/clinicalapps/GPUMemoryStrategy.xml

5. Save the file before closing.

6. Restart the pureweb service.

Notes:

 

<Collaboration> True OR False </Collaboration>

  • True — enables access the collaboration functionality.
  • False — disables access the collaboration functionality. The menu item will be grayed out.
<ThreeD>True OR False</ThreeD>
  • True — enables access the 3D functionality.
  • False — disables access the 3D functionality. The menu item will be grayed out.

<MipMpr>True OR False </MipMpr>
  • True — enables access the MIP/MPR functionality.
  • False — disables access the MIP/MPR functionality. The menu item will be grayed out
    * The same image as above for 3D where MIP/MPR icon is showing)

For 8.0.x , the 3D and MIP/MPR icons have additional icons on the top of the viewer tools (see below image) for MIP/MPR and 3D that would appear/disappear depending on values set to licensedfeatures.xml
